Madison Lightfoot, Co-Founder, CHIC Training Academy

​

Madison is a former captain of the University of New Hampshire’s (UNH) Women's Volleyball team from Clarkston, Michigan. Madison was the starting libero at UNH for three consecutive seasons, during which she led her team to three conference championships and three Division I NCAA tournament appearances. Madison currently holds two UNH dig records - the most digs in a single match and all-time career digs. Madison graduated from UNH in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Women's Studies.

 

Madison coached her first season at Portsmouth High School (PHS) in the fall of 2017 where she led the JV volleyball team to an undefeated regular season. In the same season, Madison served as the PHS Varsity Assistant Coach and the team finished second in the state championship tournament. Madison has been coaching high school volleyball at PHS for four seasons and currently serves as the Varsity Head Coach. The PHS Clippers made their first appearance a NHIAA Division I state semi-final match during her inaugural season as the program’s head coach. Madison has successfully helped players navigate the college recruiting process and realize their dreams of playing collegiate volleyball. In addition to her playing and coaching experience, Madison has provided color and play-by-play commentary for ESPN3, ACC Network, and America East TV broadcasts of NCAA Division I volleyball. Madison has been a long-time advocate for women and girls, and is passionate about giving back to the sport that she loves.

Demi Muses, Co-Founder, CHIC Training

Academy

Demi is a former captain of the University of New Hampshire's (UNH) Women's Volleyball team from Orangevale, California. Demi was a starting middle blocker at UNH and led the Wildcats to the America East Conference Championship four years in a row and has made four Division I NCAA tournament appearances. Demi is one of two players in UNH history to win four consecutive championships. 

 

Demi was a highly decorated athlete at UNH with an impressive list of collegiate accolades at a state, regional, and national level. She is a two-time America East Player of the Year and an AVCA All-East Region Team Member. She compiled career totals of  959 kills, 929 digs, 71 service aces, and 284 blocks which was no. 6 on the Wildcats' all-time list at the time of her graduation. In addition to her commitment to athletics at UNH, Demi also made academics, leadership, and community outreach a priority. She graduated with a degree in Business Marketing & Communications in May of 2017. 

 

Demi served as the PHS Varsity Associate Head Coach for the fall 2019 and 2020 seasons and played an integral role in developing the program. During her first year with PHS, the Clippers made their first appearance in the NHIAA Division I state semi-final match and Demi’s coaching helped one of the team’s senior middle blockers be named to the First Team All State. 

 

Demi is always looking for ways to keep her passion for volleyball alive, whether that be training young women, playing in beach tournaments herself, or supporting her alma mater.

Gabri Olhava, Coach, CHIC Training Academy

 

Gabri is a former captain of the University of New Hampshire's (UNH) Women's Volleyball team from Mount Prospect IL. Gabriella was a starting middle blocker at UNH for 3 seasons. In her Freshman and Sophomore year Gabri led the Wildcats to the America East Conference Championship two years in a row and has made two Division I NCAA tournament appearances. As a player, Gabri was a highly decorated athlete, with an impressive list of collegiate accolades. She earned three American East accolades, including All Conference First Team. She finished her career with 860 kills, and 274 blocks. During her college career, Gabri was a head coach for 3 seasons at a local volleyball club. She graduated with a degree in Social Work in May of 2019 and is currently working in the field. 

​

Today, Gabri serves as the ORHS Junior Varsity Head Coach where she has been for the past 2 seasons. Gabri loves to be in the gym whether she is coaching or playing and she is always looking for a way to be around the sport.
